EL VALLE DE ANTON

 Two hours from Panama City, El Valle de Anton found. Located in the crater of a volcano, is pleasant climate, friendly people and endless green that decorate the landscape.

COIBA NATIONAL MARINE PARK

 Located in the Pacific south of the Veraguas Province, with an area of ​​270.125 hectares protects marine, coastal and island. Within this park are the areas of Isla Coiba island, Rancheria (Coibita) Jicarón, Jicarita, Just outside, Canal de Afuera, Uvas, Contreras and Brincanco (153.582 hectares) and marine areas (216.543 hectares), which become one of the most extensive marine parks in the world and its continental shelf. With 49.300 hectares Coiba is the largest island in the American Pacific, for its geographic isolation it is set to a penal colony in 1910, which still exists today, and this has helped to keep the forests of this island state unchanged.

OLD TOWN

The Casco Antiguo or Casco Viejo is the name given to the site where it was moved and reestablished in 1673 the city of Panama. The new town, laid out in a grid to the four cardinal points, was characterized by the axial of its streets and shutters, which led to his being considered a classic of indiana.1 city is located on a small peninsula, surrounded by a mantle rocky reefs within the present village of San Felipe. In 1997, the Old Town of Panama is included in the list of sites for World Heritage Site of UNESCO.2

 

COLON 2000 PORT

 The Home Port Columbus 2000 began operations on 7 December with the departure of the ship, Royal Caribbean International - Enchantment of the Seas.

 The itinerary of the Enchantment of the Seas will last seven days and reaches Cartagena where 300 passengers embark, continues to Aruba, Bonaire and Curacao, in an idyllic Caribbean journey through these havens, to return to the strategic port of Colon, at the mouth of the Canal Panama.

PANAMA CANAL GATUN LOCKS

 The Panama Canal locks that raise the ships 25.9 m (85 ft) to the main elevation of the Panama Canal, was once one of the greatest engineering work at the time, eclipsed only by other stages of canal Project. There was no other concrete construction comparable in size to the construction of the Hoover Dam in the 30s. COLON FREE ZONE

ISLA GRANDE
